Bug fixes:
- Date received for restored emails was the current date if no received: header existed in email.
- Registry value added to select Exchange Server version when detection fails for mailbox.
- Exclude IP address list could save empty entries
- Content checking could fail on Unicode plain text emails.
- Restoring emails to a mailbox on Exchange 2010 could fail in some instances.
- Image link translation could fail for email stationary.
- Incorrect IP address comparison could cause internal emails to be anti-spam checked.
New features:
- Support for heuristic Kaspersky Anti-Virus scanning for better detection of unknown viruses.
- Added support for Kaspersky SDK 8.1.5.58.
- New merge fields that list the number of attachments to the email.

We recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.
How to apply upgrade:
To upgrade from a previous Policy Patrol 7 version follow the next steps:
- Download the complete Policy Patrol installation from http://www.policypatrol.com/files/policypatrol64.exe.
- Double-click on policypatrol.exe.
- The installation will detect that a previous version already exists and will ask
whether you wish to perform the upgrade. Select Yes.
- A dialog will pop up asking you to click Next to complete the installation. The installation will need to restart Internet Information Services. Click Next to continue.
- When the installation complete dialog
pops up, click Finish.
There is no need to reboot your machine and your existing configuration will remain intact. The upgrade does require a restart of Internet Information Services and the Microsoft Exchange Transport Agent service which is done automatically after clicking ‘Next’ to complete the installation (see point 4 above).
Note: If you have a clustered installation, please follow the instructions above on each clustered node. The upgrade will require one or more restarts of Internet Information Services which can affect cluster availability.
In the Policy Patrol Administration console, select Help > About from the menu.
