Carson City, NV - May 9, 2003 - Red Earth Software, developer of email policy enforcement software, today announced a partnership agreement with Kaspersky Labs, a renowned data security software developer. The partnership involves the inclusion of Kaspersky Labs' proven anti-virus engine into the email filtering product Policy Patrol, thus significantly enhancing Policy Patrol's ability to detect and deal with malicious programs.
Policy Patrol's functionality has now been significantly enhanced thanks to the integration of Kaspersky® Anti-Virus, one of the most effective and highly productive solutions for detecting malicious programs. Policy Patrol users can now find and neutralize viruses, network worms, and Trojan programs in all incoming and outgoing email messages. Kaspersky Anti-Virus technology also scans all attached files (including archived and compressed files), OLE-objects and message body text.
