Manage Outlook Signatures

Since Policy Patrol Signatures updates the user's default Outlook signature, the product can, in combination with a Group Policy, prevent users from creating and editing their own Outlook signatures.

Global & User-Based Outlook Signatures

Policy Patrol Signatures allows you to define a global signature that is applied to all Outlook clients, or to configure user-based signatures that are only applied to Outlook signatures of individual users, groups, or domains.

Support for Google Apps

Policy Patrol Signatures also allows you to centrally manage Google Apps email signatures without requiring the use of Outlook.

Active Directory merge fields

By using Active Directory merge fields in the email signature (such as user name, telephone number and email address), Policy Patrol can add individualized email signatures using the sender's Active Directory information. A useful preview tool lets you preview the user's Active Directory information when configuring the template.

If not all your users have a mobile number or fax number, Policy Patrol has some neat ways to avoid showing an empty line in the email signature for these users, whilst still being able to use only one email signature template.

Formatted Outlook email signatures with images

Outlook email signatures can be formatted and can include images and links. Policy Patrol includes an easy to use WYSIWIG HTML editor. More advanced users can edit their email signature directly in HTML.

Control email message fonts

In addition to controlling Outlook signatures, Policy Patrol Signatures also allows you to set the standard fonts used in Outlook email messages.

Support for Encrypted and Digitally Signed Emails

Since the email signature and disclaimer are added at Outlook level, Policy Patrol Signatures does not invalidate PGP and S/MIME encrypted or digitally signed emails, nor does it add the encrypted or digitally signed message as an attachment.

Cost-Effective Flexible User Licensing

With Policy Patrol Signatures, you only purchase licenses for the users for which you wish to control Outlook signatures. You are not forced to purchase licenses for all your users. If you require more users at a later stage, you can purchase additional user licenses.
