Policy Patrol version 7 now supports Exchange 2010 and offers improved email branding

Red Earth Software warns of privacy breaches in cc mass mailings

Cc mass mailings occur when one email is sent to many recipients in the Cc (or Bcc/To) field, exposing valuable customer data and potentially resulting in privacy breach claims, as well as damage to the company’s reputation. Policy Patrol first to show email disclaimer & signature in Outlook Sent Items.
August 13, 2009 – Red Earth Software, developer of email filter software, today announced the release of Policy Patrol version 6. Policy Patrol 6 is the first server based email disclaimer product for Exchange Server that shows the disclaimer and signature in the Sent Items of Outlook without requiring any client software or allowing users to edit or remove the disclaimer before sending. This is something that even the built-in disclaimer functionality in Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 cannot do. Policy Patrol 6 further includes improved spam control and attachment filtering.
Red Earth Software signs Japanese distribution agreement with AG-TECH
August 4, 2009 – Red Earth Software, developer of email security software for Microsoft Exchange Server, today announced a Japanese distribution agreement with Tokyo based AG-TECH Corporation. AG-TECH will market and sell the Japanese version of Policy Patrol, a corporate email filter that offers anti-spam, content checking, disclaimers and signatures. Policy Patrol will be made available through AG-TECH's established sales channels and partners in Japan.
