Policy Patrol offers email filtering for Microsoft Exchange 2003

Carson City, NV - June 17, 2003 - Red Earth Software, developer of email policy enforcement software, today announced that Policy Patrol 2.5 now includes support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Policy Patrol offers Exchange 2003 users advanced email filtering possibilities such as anti-spam, keyword filtering, attachment blocking and disclaimers.

Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, the next major release following Exchange 2000, boosts information worker productivity through ubiquitous access to business-critical messaging and calendaring information, as well as enhancements in security, manageability, availability and reliability to help further drive down TCO.

Policy Patrol 2.5 new features
Apart from support for Exchange 2003, Policy Patrol version 2.5 includes the following new features:

  • Check messages for character sets (useful for blocking spam mails)
  • Block single IP addresses or IP address ranges
  • Display conditions found, including individual words and their score
  • Password protection for local and remote Policy Patrol management.

Policy Patrol works with Microsoft Exchange 2003/Exchange 2000/Exchange 5.5, Lotus Domino/Notes and any other SMTP mail server.
